Sales of pork boosted by £13m
To create a campaign concept to promote and rejuvenate the image of Pulled Pork to support the competitiveness, efficiency and profitability of UK pig levy payers.
Our design concept combined simple chalkboard graphics and high-quality, stylised recipe images to reinforce the message that Pulled Pork is easy to cook and delicious.
To support AHDB’s TV campaign, we created adverts that were rolled out nationally through supermarkets, independent butchers, national press supplements and high profile food magazines. We also launched an online competition to win a slow cooker.
The online competition generated over 10,000 entries in the first eight weeks. 1,700 promotional kits were distributed to independent butchers and 500,000 recipe booklets were distributed to consumers by retailers.
This collateral lead to a dramatic increase in sales and an ROI of £7.55 in retail sales for every £1 spent by AHDB.
